Montessori (school reform)
Primary and secondary schools
Montessori has promising evidence of effectiveness, according to the Comprehensive School Reform Quality Center (CSRQ).
Montessori schools provide an interdisciplinary curriculum with self-corrective materials. Pupils are grouped in multi-age classes, and given open-time and a free choice of activities driven by their own interests, although work is matched to the pupil’s development level.
